I stared at the small grey and white tabby in the carrier, still not quite believing he was ours. After a decade of begging, pleading, and negotiating, I finally had my writer's cat.
"You know we might regret this, right?" Joe grumbled as he loaded the carrier into our car. “Ruby and Artemis might not accept him? I’m nervous about this.”
